Penny Plain is a Yorkshire Dales based theatre company offering Victorian entertainment at fairs and festivals across Yorkshire. When it comes to describing what they do, members of Penny Plain Theatre Company are uncharacteristically lost for words saying “Unique”, “funny” and “Victorian” spring most readily to mind.

The members of Penny Plain approached Flair Digital to redesign their new website with a focus on a modern, slightly quirky and visually engaging design. Through the use of bright, colourful blocks, decorative elements and sepia tinted images we brought the Victorian feel to life on a modern WordPress website.
The site features event listings to highlight upcoming performances and multiple image galleries to highlight the visual nature of Penny Plain performances. Content is laid out in clear, distinct blocks for ease of navigation and making key information such as upcoming shows and commissions easily accessible.
