Bizzie Lizzie’s is a family owned and run business which prides itsself on being Skiptons Favourite Fish & Chips Restaurant and Takeaway with two locations in the town centre.

The Web Design Project…

The client brief for the website was to provide a visually attractive website that featured a modern, welcoming design and showcased the quality of the food served. It was important that our website design and layout should highlight that Bizzie Lizzie’s is more than just fish and chips, with options including afternoon tea, light bites and vegan and gluten free.

The website features a modern and colourful visual design based on shades of blue that in line with the company’s branding. Image selection was a primary consideration and photographs are used throughout the website to showcase the quality and range of food on offer. Background textures are used to help add visual interest and add a softer, welcoming feel to the design.

Content is laid out in clear blocks and Calls to Action are designed to stand out to offer clear choices to the user for further information and viewing opening times and directions.

The website is developed in WordPress and the Content Management System will enable our client to regularly update the website with new menus and offerings as well as important updates on opening times and food availability.

Mobile Friendly Website Design

It was essential that the new Bizzie Lizzie’s website was designed to be mobile friendly to ensure that vistiors to Skipton could use the website on their mobile phones to view opening times, menus and for getting directions. Our mobile-first approach to this project ensured that each element in the design will flow and adjust to match the screen size. On smaller screens and devices, the navigation is accessible by touch and remains visible whilst a user scrolls down the page.
