Sitting Pretty is a long established beauty salon business based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. The business offers a range of beauty treatments and products from top brands such as Clarins, Guinot and Jessica. The business prides itsself on its warm welcome and high levels of customer service that needed to be reflected in a new, modern website.

Flair Digital were tasked with designing a modern, visually attractive and search engine friendly website with the overarching aim of providing a framework for showcasing the salon and generating increased awareness, enquiries and sales and bookings.
The website features a modern and clean visual design that is image led. The website design reflects the business brand identity with the black logo combined with greyscales and whitespace which present a clean, crisp and modern feel.
The website homepage is designed to provide an overview for the whole site and features introductions to key areas of the business. Content is laid out in clear blocks that are set off to one side which adds visual interest to the design. Calls to Action are designed to stand out below each service area and offer clear choices to the user on booking a service online or contacting the salon directly.
The website is designed and developed in WordPress with a visual drag and drop interface that enables our client to regularly update key sections and pages within the site.

Ecommerce Web Design
The salon sells gift vouchers online using WooCommerce which is the most used ecommerce platform in the world and makes it really easy for businesses and their team to mange all aspects of the shop. PayPal Checkout is integrated in to the website to ensure a fast, smooth and secure payment process for customers.
Responsive Web Design
The Sitting Pretty website is designed to be mobile friendly so that it displays correctly on devices from PC’s to laptops, mobile phones and tablets to TV’s and larger monitors. Each element in the design will flow and adjust to match the screen size. On smaller screens and devices, the navigation is accessible by touch remains visible whilst a user scrolls down the page.
